Sister Cities International - Rotary Partnerships Workshop

Expanding Your Opportunities - How to Partner with Your Rotary Club

Friday, July 19 from 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm

Workshop Description

This workshop aims to set the stage for Rotary and Sister Cities to explore partnerships by having Rotarians join Sister Cities in their communities to help increase projects fundraising, joint projects thus advancing the mission of both organizations.

Description of the Track (Content Goal)
The goal of this Track is to demonstrate why promoting Rotary and Sister Cities partnerships can help advance the missions of both organizations.

One of the WS takeaway of this Track is to create an impact report from this session to submit to Rotary International, with the intent of doing a similar session at the 2020 Rotary International conference in Honolulu, HI.

About Rotary International
The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

With 33,000 clubs in 200 countries around the world (and 1.2 million members), Rotary is the largest social service organization in the world. Each Rotary Club has an international services committee (and sometimes a budget), but not always a global network to plan programs.
